Loreena's family

christmas cat carols

Hi guys. Yesterday night I had a big blust of tears.
Nothing is/ was  working properly: I had a phone call for a job but it was clear for both sides I dont fit there- at noon. Loreena was refusing even treats and wet fish flavor food and while running after her I just sit on my glasses and caused a deformation on it ( well, no broken lens at least - lets be positives!)
And etc, etc ... Picked Lolo in my nap and thought in measuring her temperature and take her vet that moment.I didnt - poor one would refuse food more enfatically after that.
I know it seems insanity but I talked seriously with her and a lot stressed.Told her if situation were not solved by today morning she would go to vet anyway. Deadline determinated.
She always look at me with a face "I'm paying great atention to " face when I so this - its crazy...
Today morning bathroom was a lot quiet. Not even kids bothering - damn ones must be happy cos they always get diferent foods offered to Lo when she refuses - Who is able to turn them on trash with some fat " Ethiopians " cats begging for as poor stray ones?
Feed kids , let Lo went room and offered food again to her ( now she always eats ther cos its the place where different things are)
And SHE FINALLY ACCEPTED DRY FOOD WITH A FEW CHICKEN- and avoided vet till lunch time, at least.
She Did again at lunch, not much but she did.If the same happens this night maybe we can skip the trip - smart spoiled one! Lets hope it happens!

Considering the above mentioned progress makes my heart lighter, here goes something I read and enjoyed .Hope you like that as well...

" Hope you are having a happy December. Here are some smiles for you – enjoy!

CAT Christmas Carols

The Twelve Days of Christmas
On the twelfth day of Christmas my human gave to me...
Twelve bags of catnip
Eleven tasty cat treats
Ten ornaments hanging
Nine wads of tissue
Eight peacock feathers
Seven stolen Q-tips
Six feathered balls
Five Milk Jug Rings!!!
Four munchy house plants
Three running faucets
Two fuzzy mousies
and a Hamste-e-er in a plastic ball.

To the Vet's
Sing to tune of "Jingle Bells"
Dashing to the vet's in the brand new red sports car,
We have no litterbox; I hope it isn't far......
I'll scream and claw and cry, to make them all feel bad,
While plotting in my tiny brain to make the vet go mad!
To the vet's, to the vet's, to the vet's we go,
If I had a choice in this, I'd rather just say "no-o"!
To the vet's, to the vet's, to the vet's we go,
Why must we always do this? You know I hate it so!

They check my fur for fleas; they check my ears for mites;
They give me lots of shots; I give them lots of bites;
They want to see my eyes; they want to see my teeth;
They check out every inch of me, above and underneath.
To the vet's, to the vet's, to the vet's we go,
If I had a choice in this, I'd rather just say "no-o"!
To the vet's, to the vet's, to the vet's we go,
Why must we always do this? You know I hate it so!

The following was found posted very low on a refrigerator door.

Dear Dogs and Cats: The dishes on the floor with the paw prints are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Placing a paw print in the middle of my plate does not mean that it is suddenly your food, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.

The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Racing me to the top of the stairs is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help because I fall faster than you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure your comfort. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It Is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other, stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out on the other end to maximize space that you are taking up, is nothing but sarcasm.

For the last time, there is no secret exit from the bathroom! If, by some miracle, I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge in an attempt to open the door. I must exit through the same door I
entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years - canine/feline attendance is not required.

The proper order for kissing is: Kiss me first, then go smell the other dog or cat's butt. I cannot stress this enough.

Finally, in fairness, dear pets, I have posted the following message on the front door:

(1) They live don't.

(2) If you don't want hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. That's why they call it "fur"niture.

(3) I like my pets a whole lot better than I like most people!

(4) To you, they are animals. To me, they are adopted sons/daughters who are short, hairy, walk on all fours and don't speak clearly.

Remember, dogs and cats are better than kids because they:

1) eat less,
2) don't ask for money all the time,
3) are easier to train,
4) normally come when called,
5) never ask to drive the car,
6) don't hang out with drug-using people;
7) don't smoke or drink,
8) don't want to wear your clothes,
9) don't have to buy the latest fashions,
10) don't need a gazillion dollars for college and
11) if they get pregnant, you can sell their children.

)Oh well, you know I love each and every one of you, kittens and cats, toms and tabbies, moggies and kitties, and even humans too. Have a happy and safe Christmas with those you love, of whatever species.

Meantime, see you all at Stay safe and well, and keep purring!

Lots of love, purrs and head-bumps,

    --Dear Tabby "

To Loreena's family......................Apple, this is the time of year so many of us just become overwhelmed especially when money is tight and we are on our own.  times are hard and the problems/worries just seem to compound, it becomes hard to cope. I too just sit and have a good cry now and than, its helps for the moment.

I am sooooo happy Loreena listened to your plea's and has decided she would try her food this morning, she's doesn't really want to have to visit the V-E-T either..

Thank you so much for copying out the versus...having a good laugh helps us get through tough times and does make the heart lighter. I especially loved the one that was posted on the refrigerator door, its so true!!!!

May you and the girls all stay healthy, me, Nemo and Sami are sending our love and purrs your way too.
Merry Christmas to you and ALL the Pet Lovers in Mhelp world

Haha...thanks for the hilarious comments on cats.  Gave me a giggle.  Yep...I am getting thru' what used to be a stressful time of year by spending more time with Diego, who is certain all problems we think up are nonsense.
Sarah...Snicker really does need to use your computer...important business!!!  LOL

Happy Yule to all....
