My boss took his own life Monday evening

He was a extremely sucessful business man who build a billion $ business ground up. But recently business has been slow like every where thanks to the economic downfall.
They have to let staff go and cut down on expenses. He took this very hard and blamed himself for letting the staff down and slipped into severe depression.
Then on Monday evening he took his own life.

We are devastated.. he was a wonderful man with a never fading smile on his face.
Words cannot express how deeply saddened I am.

I am so sorry, what a sad thing to happen .Its hard isn't it and many folks just cannot take it ,they give up ..I had a niece do the same , a while ago its always so sad as her parents never believed they helped her, but I think she was so depressed .I hope your boss is at peace ...marg

Oh my gosh honey, I am so sorry. How sad when someone reaches the point where they see no future and no hope. I hurt for his friends and family. How are you handling it? Are you ok? You know how to reach me if you need a friend..and you know I am there for you (at least I hope you do!). Keeping his family in my prayers, and always an extra one for you. xoxo

He was a devout Catholic and it's a shame he took this decision.
He was on meds and was surrounded by his very loving family through this time. But somehow he could not be saved.
I am personally doing ok.. very sad.. but what can you do!
