One Down, 47 to go

Mar 25, 2012 - 3 comments

Thank you Dee for your reply !

First shot was 3:30pm Friday the 23rd of March, riba and incevek started at 6:00am the next morning.

I was pretty freaked out about starting. I have always been very concerned about long-term/permanent sides, and felt like saying good-bye to people, like I was going on a trip I might not return from - that's how bad it was.

I am almost afraid to verbalize it, for fear of jinxing it, but so far the sides have been pretty mild, although I hear it takes about a month for things to build up. Anyway, I am learning to appreciate each moment (good right now), as it happens.

I do feel empowered by starting. Finally, I am fighting back, after just living with it all these years. That feels really good. It is probably all in my head, but I think I actually feel better in some ways, my head is a little clearer. Anyway, the journey has begun.

Words cannot express how valuable and meaningful all of you, directly or indirectly, and this website have been in informing me, educating me, encouraging me, and supporting me. It is not an understatement to say that without you all I wouldn't have, couldn't have started.(special shout out to you, Hector).

I will post more as things progress. Again thanks to all !

Best Regards,
Brian

Welcome to the tx rollercoaster! We all react different to tx. Each week even each day can be different. Take it one day at a time. Love the good days, get out and enjoy and do what you can to make the bad ones better or just stay home in your pajamas, no guilt!!

Cheers :)

Yes sir welcome to the tx rollercoaster! lol I am on shot thirty now almost finished. I have had some really bad times with this tx. I hope and pray that you don't have all the symptoms that I did. If it was on the paper as a side effect I got it. But just pray and keep on praying it does get better with time. Sometimes you might want to through in the towel, but don't. A few months down the road things do get better. I will keep you in my prayers. God bless and keep you.
