I am so frustrated and I don't know where else to turn.  I'm a 27 year old female with mulitple syptoms and no diagonsis: blurry vision, headaches, burning when I urinate, lower back pain, general discomfort, trouble sleeping, cloudy urine, itchy skin (especially in the groin area), dry mouth.  Over the past 4 months I have been to four different doctors: my PCP (who is also an endocrinologist & oncologist), my Gyno, a neurologist and a Urologist.  It all started when I noticed I was drink 3x the water I normally drink.  I went for diabetes testing (glucose test, blood work, etc), becasue it runs in my family, but it came back normal.  I went for a brain MRI and they found a pineal cyst, but the neurologist said it was nothing to worry about and put me on Topomax for the headaches.  I went to the GYno for my yearly exam and my pap came back abnormal so I went for a colposcopy.  The results of that test were normal.  None of the symptoms I've had have gone away and at time they get worse so my doctor sent me to a Urologist.  i had a renal ultrasound doen and that was normal also.  I have had 6 urine-alysis done, all normal.  Two went sent for cultures - also negative/normal.  I don't know what else to do at this point.  And to add insult to injury, the toenail of my big toe on my right foot is now falling off for no apparent reason.  My PCP is usless at this point and just keeps perscribing antibiotics, which is funny since all the tests say nothing is wrong with me.  So I don't know who to go to next.

Has anyone mentioned having an imflammation in the bladder?  I remember going through something like that where I could have sworn I had an infection, it was so uncomfortable to urinate.  I had had bladder infections before and thats why I assumed thats what it had to be.  But I finally went to a nephrologist who put me on a med  and I cant recall the name, but it was for imflammation and I took it for about a month maybe loger and it finally  resolved itself.  I also had stopped drinking soda and drank plenty of water.

Marysgirl - thanks so much for the info.  No one has mentioned an inflamed bladder to me, but I'll definately look into it.  Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
