What IS that thing??? A spider?? Great, now I'll have nightmares all night !!!

It's a spined microthena and yes, it is a spider.  That is a blown up picture when in reality they are only about 1/4 inch or smaller.  They look like little hermit crabs and make huge webs.  We have them all over.

Not poisonous...don't be frightened little girl.  = )

Little Miss Muffet eh??  I just hate all of them.. even the non poisonous ones !! We get these great "wolf spiders" down here. I slept in the LR. once when I saw one in my BR... Yeach.....

I hate spiders. Thank goodness the big spiders are quite rare in my part of the world.
