A poem I found on the net about recovery.

RECOVERY IS HARDER THEN BEING AN ADDICT. WHEN YOU FIRST START SAYING NO TO DRUGS YOU BEGIN SAYING YES TO RECOVERY WITH EACH DAY THAT PASSES THE CRAVINGS ARE CALLING AND CALLING AND IN AN ADDICTS FIRST THOUGHT IS ONE MORE TIME THEN I'LL STOP.

BUT TOMORROW NEVER COMES IF IT WAS THAT EASY THEN YOU WOULDN'T BE LABELED AN ADDICT .NOW ITS TIME TO STOP SAYING NO TO DRUGS BUT TO SAY GOOD-BYE BECAUSE SAYING NO JUST MEANS NO TODAY BUT MAYBE YES TO TOMORROW.

SAYING GOOD-BYE IS LIKE LETTING THIS ADDICTION THAT I NO LONGER WANT YOU IN MY LIFE. RECOVERY IS A LONG ROAD AHEAD BUT BEING AN ADDICT IS FOR EVER.
