10stone 6lbs this morning - where did that 2 extra pounds come from????? It is a real mystery!! I have definitely NOT over eaten at all this week - my calorie intake has been between 1000 and 1100 per day. Yes, I have done some cycling but no more than any other week so the only thing I can think of is that I have either gained some muscle or have retained some water.
Whatever the reason for this weight gain I am sure it will even itself out again. I can tell that this last 14lbs is really going to be the hardest to lose. It looks as tho my body is going to fight me - but I WILL lose that 14lbs and I WILL keep it off.
I will get to 9st 7lbs - so fight all you want body......you will eventually succumb to my will!!!!! ha!ha!ha!
People say this is precisely why you should not weigh yourself every day - but I say - it depends on whether or not this is a help or a hindrance and it depends very much on how you react when the scales do not tell you what you want to see. For ME, weighing and measuring myself every day is a definite help...... it keeps me focussed and temporary weight gains of a pound or two no longer cause me to fall into a deep depression or want to give up. Why? because after 109 days my whole attitude to my weight has changed.
This is only the third time since I started losing weight and fat that my weight has actually increased by a couple of pounds. As I have said before - if you can't change something, then change the way you think about it.
