I was diagnosed in 1998 with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML), and with the help of Our Lord I have gotten through 10 years this past Dec. with this disease. I have been in remission for over 7 years now. I have other health problems, but my family has been so loving and caring. They have put up with so many different phases that I have gone through with all my other medical problems. I have learned you have to Let Go and Let God. Sometimes things just get so overwhelming that you cannot sink any lower, therefore, you have to look up and talk to God. The Holy Spirit is our comforter, and I never realized what that meant until this horrible disease hit me.
I take one day at a time, and sometimes thats really hard to do. You have to keep going and stay positive. Its amazing what positive thinking can do. Faith as small as a mustard seed is all you need to get through
