I watch Worst Week & Big Bang.  Can't get into Ghost Whisperer.  Sober House is cool to me.  I want so bad for them all to make it.  I guess because my daughter did so well with inpatient rehab.  Zoning into the tv helps keep me from overthinking my situation.  Love, Marie

I try not to watch too much TV but I do like What Not To Wear, Sex and the City, America's Next Top Model, American Idol.  I prefer movies but it drives my husband nutty b/c I'll watch something I've seen before and then get up and down doing stuff.  LOL  ADD???   My daughter has gotten me semi hooked on Nip Tuck.  Weird show, that one.

What is Ghost Whisperer?  And Big Bang, Worst Week, Unmarried???  Never heard of these.

Marie...I'm thinking about you.  Love!

Well, this is no doubt gonna get your mind off of anything serious .. right Marie?  Ghost whisperer is on Fri nights and about a woman that "speaks" to spirits that haven't crossed over. Jennifer Love Hewitt.. My husband watches I think because no matter if it's 20 below , she still has cleavage !!!! Big Bang is on Monday nights and is just a scream.. 4 guys , all scientific professors (one is from Roseanne-- her daughter's boyfriend) Really nerdy geeks.. they all live together and cannot even explain it well enought to do it justice. There is a little "hotty" female that lives down the hall and can't figure them at all, nor can they figure her since she's just a normal person. They have so many quirks ... It's just fun .. Worst week is on Monday too.. Lots of good actors on this one..the old 70's show dad is on this one.. all about the foibles of this cute couple (she's pregnant) but they're not married yet..He (the fiance) manages to screw up everything he touches and causes some real, real embarassments...And... Unmarried features the fella that used to be in "Ghost Whisperer".. He's a divorced dad.. yet he and his ex wife still manage to have problems.. nothing serious. Well, nothing serious on any of these..just fun watching.

I haven't tried What not to Wear.. that sounds interesting.. I used to do America's next top model, then I got bored with it.and I'm sure I'll catch A. Idol , but I've gotten to dislike the first auditions..I think they have got to be "fake". I mean don't you know when you sound that awful???  And... New Adventures of Old Christine is just a hoot I think. I just love "Elaine" from Seinfeld.. can't think of her name.. Wanda Sykes is on that one as well. .. That's on Wed. night too.. She's divorced , living with her son and brother (whose expressions just slay me) ..Still friendly with her Ex who is now engaged to another "Christine".. She too is funny

Marie.. hope this gives you some good ammunition to fight the "worries'..... Love S.

Sandy, HGTV is Home and Garden TV - lots of decorating and food related shows.  I really miss my HGTV and Food network now that we canceled satellite and are just using the ears for free TV.  We've been renting and/or downloading some series that we never watched.  We have been so enjoying Weeds and Heroes.

I don't watch any of those LOL and don't know what they are (not counting American Idol, of course).  I do watch HGTV, both Jerry & I, we watch alot of sports and Hallmark movies.  I used to watch Nip/Tuck and yes, it is a strange show. Usually asleep now.  Last night, we went to watch Turner & Hooch (movie) and I fell asleep about 5 minutes into it LOL

I cannot watch What Not to Wear!!!!!  I wear anything I can find clean that does not bother my scars. I am pretty sure everything I put on qualifies as something no one should ever wear!!! Right  now I am wearing jeans 2 sizes too big and a cloth belt to hold them up.  They are rolled up to keep out of the snow. I am topping that off with a shirt that I believe belonged to the grandbaby's dad that says Polo Club.  Now that's what I call stylin'!!!!!

I watch Big Bang only because I love the main guy that used to play David on the Roseanne show.  He is so nice.

Trudie I watched the first season of Weeds.  I rented it on DVDs a while back.  That is the one with the Suburban mom making ends meet by selling a little you know what?? It was good. I'll have to rent the next set.

I spend so much time thinking of money troubles, onc troubles, keeping the kids from going off the deep end, etc. Dumb tv really clears my brain.  It is like a detox of the mind.

Marie, I am sure you are cute as a button in that outfit.  I am smiling just thinking of you.  You have to do what you can to be comfortable.  I'm glad the TV helps you escape from your troubles.

Oh Marie... I think you should post a picture of you in your outfit !! Sounds much like what I schlep around in.. !! And, I can identify with the "kids".. are yours teenagers? Mine are grown and it doesn't end.... the problems just are "different' ..
My daughter has gotten hooked on "Lost".. what's the deal with that? I tried it once some time ago but didn't hit me I guess.. And HGTV sounds good !!! Oh.. And Grey's Anatomy but that's gotten sort of weird too.. And, Private Practice is on right afterwards.. but that hardly gets your mind off doctors.. Tomorrow of course is superbowl! My daughter was crazy enough to drive to Tampa today to see her son who just broke up with his fiance (she's taking some hand me down furniture to him ) Told her she was nuts to try to get around Tampa today !!  (see Marie, it never ends) I'm not that much of football fan, but that's sort of mindless too...

The last time I watched a Superbowl the Bears were doing the Superbowl Shuffle with that punkie QB Jim McMann!!  Was that 1985 or so?????  Right now I am watching Animal Cops.  Poor doggies.  When Robin gets home from work I will have her post a new pic of me if its not too late.  She is 18.  Her big sis is 28.  Love, Marie

Marie, I think you ought to send that picture to "What Not to Wear".  Hey, you'd get a free trip, makeover and 5 grand in new clothes.  I'd love it!!!!   It doesn't matter what you wear, you have one of those cute personalities that always makes you look cute.

I used to not watch TV except HGTV or The Food Channel, but I do watch NCIS, The Unit, and my awful, brainless, nobody should admit to watching it show is Survivor.  The fun has kind of gone out of Survivor though because I keep thinking, "should I start watching something that I may not be around to see the end of?"

Jan,  Over the years I have taken some tough criticism from my girls about my clothing choices.  I used to have a shirt with beets and radishes all over it.  I wore it for years until it wasn't much more than a rag.  My oldest girl would say, "Oh no! Not the beets!!" They think I threw it away, but I have saved a scrap of it for each of the girls. Marie
