As I regularly getting low Bp readings I was going to reduce my Amlodopine to 1/2 a pill per day. 5mg a day. However, I have investigated ambulatory Bp levels, and it would seem that my peaks would still be considered too high. See information below.
Rounded thresholds, (in tests), for NORMAL ABP were 125/75 (24hour median), 130/85 (day time), and 110/70 (night time) mm Hg, respectively, and those for ambulatory HYpERTENSION were 130/80, 140/85, and 120/70 mm Hg.
Maybe I should take my monitor to work to test my stressed bp.
