I wonder if there's a thing called "stress fever." 1.5 years ago, I started to get fevers every few months. There was absolutely no other symptoms besides the headache, chill, fatigue, and body ache that comes with the fever. It usually lasts only 1 day with or without tylenol.
Since the cancer dx last year, the fever attack has become more often during thr past 3 months. The temp is about 38C and lasts only 1/2-1 day. I get it once every 1-2 weeks. And I'm running a temperature since yesterday afternoon - no appetite, chills, nausea, headache, ... just wanna lie down but can't fall asleep.
This is really annoying - even an EBV infection should pass by now. I hope my immune system is okay. The fact that I got cancer probably suggests that it wasn't entirely okay. And I'm so afraid that the frequent fevers are signs that my immune system is still not normal.
And I don't want anymore doctor visits, even though my doctor has been super nice to me esp. after he learned of my cancer dx. I just hope either things get better, or I'll start experiencing some more specific symptoms to make a dx possible.
