Weaning off of any antianxiety medication needs to been done with a doctors help. It could be very dangerous to do this alone. I wouldn't even think of trying without a doctors help! Meditation is a great way of dealing with anxiety...but you need to wean off the medication with a doctors help. For your own good....please.
well my name is joe and i manage l.a fitness as a personal trainer i have my phd in sports medicine and exercise science so and ive been on 2mg 3 times daily and now im off see the key is to be strong minded have god in ur life and someone to support u and help u out when ur gettin off cuz this is the worst feeling in the world gettin offf xanax...I ADVISE DROP .50 MG EVERY 4 DAYS AND TRY KAVA KAVA FOR A RELAXANT OR VALERIAN ROOT.. AND GO TO GNC AND BUY GABA AND TAKE 2 PILLS A DAY BECAUSE U NEED UR GABA RECEPTORS BAK TO NORMAL... THIS IS WAT I DID I WAS TAKIN VALERIAN ROOT, KAVA KAVA, MELATONIN,ST JOHNS WORT, AND MELATONIN AND THOSE ARE ALL NON ADDICTIVE THINGS TO TAKE TO HELP THE PROCESS WHICH WORKS. U WILL BE TIRED ALOT FOR A WHILE ALMOST 7 TO 10 DAYS BUT THATS WAT U HAVE TO DO TO GETT OF THEM AND ID SLEEP 10 HOURS AND EAT EVERY 2 HOURS AND YOGA AND MEDITATION... THESE ARE THE ONLY WAYS IM TELLIIN U IVE BEEN RESEARCHING THIS AND DOIN THIS FOR 5 YEARS AND NOW I FINALLY FOUND A WAY OUT SO TRY IT I DONT KNOW IF IT WILL WORK FOR EVERYBODY BUT I DROPPED AND GOT OFF IN 16 DAYS AND HAVE BEEN SOBER SINCE AND I WANNA SHARE THIS BECAUSE OF THE PAIN U HAVE TO GO THREW TO GET OFF THIS STUPID DRUG
