Getting divorced so no more ttc...

Sep 26, 2013 - 5 comments

I am SO grateful that I have my DD :-)

Another child would have been wonderful but my husband and I have amicibly decided to part ways.  At the ripe old age of 47 I doubt if I will be dating any time soon and I think the clock will be running out sooner rather than later.

I know that I will always wonder "what if", but to not feel blessed that I have my DD would be ungrateful.

I really hope that everyone here gets their babies :-)  They truly are a great blessing.

Love to all of you!

It's never too late to date!  My mother is 55, just had her divorce finalized last week, and is ready to move on with her life.  Granted, she isn't TTC...but it's never too late for a happily ever after!

My cousin got pregnant by a friend . He agreed to it if he did not have to pay for the child unless he wanted to but not a court ordered thing . Sorry about the divorce my parents divorced last month.  they are in their 50's

Sorry to hear you are getting divorced, sending hugs.  Break ups are always hard even if they are the right choice.

Are you sure it's final? TTC can put a strain on a marriage, maybe counseling? I'm no expert, I've been divorced 2 times and married 3, I found my soul mate 12 years ago and I am truly happy. Whatever you decide to do we are here for you.
Hugs my friend

You guys ROCK!!!

Yes, I am sure that it's over....he has a violent temper (though he has NEVER struck me) and other issues that I just feel that I'm too old to have to deal with, and my daughter shouldn't have to be exposed to.

I'm actually looking forward to just her and I on our own.  Prior to my marriage, my Mom lived with us so we have never been "on our own"....she's 11 so it's kind of exciting :-)

I'm really not interested in being a single mom to a newborn (though I did it once before).

I really hope that everyone here gets what their heart desires!!!  There is absolutely NOTHING like holding your child (whether by birth, adoption, etc.)  Every woman should get to have that experience. :-)
