The Myelin Repair Foundation is gathering signatures for a new petition, Appoint an NIH Director Who Will Make Cures for Patients a Top Priority.

We are trying to gather signatures as quickly as possible. We heard that the President is at the final stages of appointing a director now, so we really need your help. The petition will be delivered to Barack Obama, President of the United States to urge immediate action on this issue.

I signed this - and encouraged my facebook friends to do the same.  Everyone here knows that doing business the way we've always done business with medical research and searching for cures isn't working.
