This reminds me of the Smithsonian buildings - but it has been twentysome years since I last saw them. That's my guess but Julie should know those since they are in her backyard. ! Is there a prize if we guess correctly? LOL
seeing this makes me ask - have you tried bing.com yet? the welcome screen changes every day and has a "guess where it is" format with clues. As you hover your mouse of the picture different clues pop up. I've actually known a few so far, including the Baltimore harbor yesterday or maybe that's today. Its a fun mental exercise.
How could we not know that. Isn't that where they filmed the movie "Night at the Museum"? I could be wrong about that too. Anyway, you got a good picture of the "Natural History Museum in NYC" and probaly even toured it right? As many times as I've been to NYC, I've never made it to that museum, walked by it but never went in. I'll make a point of going next time. Thanks again for sharing it with us.
Yes, they based the first film there.. I love that movie and insisted we go there and was awed by the musem... it is a must for anyone in NY to stop and tour.. be prepared for a massive building that spans blocks and can take all day to wander about it.
