I post these pics to just give members a view of how bad things can be and more .... the success you can achieve if you take things into your own hands and learn to work with a doctor with knowledge behind you.

I feel I was left for dead for years until I was forced to be my own advocate. I am thankful I had the "smarts" to do it although - that was extremely challening when I was so ill with brain fog back (amoungst other things) in 2004.

I started these pictures actually when I was starting to feel well after I changed my thyroid medication... I didn't think to do it when I was in the death of the disease... I hope you can see the changes as I have seen them take place.

Embrace knowing - there is HOPE. - Learning from others and researching can definately tie up those loss ends and make you understand what's going on.

I have felt well now for a few years but the weight was not resolved until a year ago. I had to really improvise a diet plan and with some friend doctors doing some things that really helped me burn the fat off.

What meds did you take i saw you didn't do synthroid, want to be prepared when i go for my RAI and insist no synthroid, is armour any better? I saw something about natural dessicated Canadian thyroid on your profile page. What is this, is their another name for it? thanks, graveswoman:aka:Kim
