Well, this and the picture similar to this aren't the best photos, but it was the best I could get with the camera I got.  It was a lot worse with the flash, actually, so I deleted that picture.  I took these two pictures without flash and did an image editing, which made the pictures "okay".  Although, it may be difficult to tell by just these two shots alone that Akira is a chocolate tortoiseshell.  You can see her eyes alright if you look closely enough.

Akira totally loves the two crocheted "rats" I made for her.  They're made in the same manner as making "mice", except they're bigger and made with worsted weight yarn.  Akira likes to "bunny kick" her "rats".  I made them for her when she started acting that way with my hands.  I just give her one of her two rats when she starts acting that way.  She gets her excitement out of her system, then after that she is back to being the sweetheart that she actually is.  It allows her to act like a cat.

Lolo has about 7 rats, but none of the crocheted
I guess she could like - if it was gray - but  crocheting is not my diy area :-)
The only ones she likes are 2 gray and in rubber - the ones that looks like real ones...
The 'Gay Mouse" ( coloured striped with some grains inside) was completly ignored for all the cat family - not evem whem babies they cared for that

Yeah, I'm fortunate that I can crochet.  I save a lot of money because I know how to make toys that Akira likes to play with.  I think about what her behavior patterns are and which things she seems attracted to and which things she flat out ignores.  That's how I figured out that she would probably love the two rats I made for her.  When those wear out or are lost, I can easily make one in an evening.
