Yes, this is Van. The vet cut off a little tip instead of a notch, so my friend decided he should be Van Gogh. It's hard to call him Van since I don't really know where he came from or what his other name was, but he is a persistant kitty. Likes to eat, so I have to put up with his brrrrrrrps all day.
He is so pretty. When you mentioned his name I imagined him exactly like that, a handsome tabby boy. Take good care of him :) And sorry for posting the same question 3 times. My computer was suffering a heart attack at that moment :)
This my first rescue cat and he loves to lick and nibble on my hand in the morning. Very lovable. He must have been somebodie's pet because he knows to jump on the sink to drink. Doesn't like drinking out of his dish. He is training me.
He was picked up by our local rescue shelter. They posted pictures of him and put ads in the paper but got no responses for a couple of months. They then brought him to a Vet to be neutered in Sept. and instead of notching the ear, they cut quite a tip off. I don't think he was abused because he is so gentle-maybe abandoned or lost. They tried so hard to find the owner and even had him on their website. He was in a foster home when I took him 2 weeks ago.
Oh, thank you. Sounds like a success story for this kitty :) I wanted to get one from the shelter, but with my cat's situation I haven't been able to even think about it. You got a very, very cute kitty!
