We are still in the hospital. We finally got Hailey's stomach problems under control, finally got her well enough to go home, she was discharged .....and Hannah got admitted the same day with a lung infection. It's a respiratory virus and Hannah will be in the hospital 14 days for a round of IV antibiotics. We are expecting Hailey to come down with it also and be here through December. We can't catch a break. The CF clinic tells me the girls will be ok and once we get over this hump but will have occasional flare ups. It's a lot of work to take care of these precious little girls... multiple daily breathing treatments and digestive enzymes and medications every day for the rest of their life plus frequent clinic visits and hospitilizations... Twins is hard by itself but once we got the diagnosis of CF our world just got devastatingly more busy. We work so hard to help keep their lungs clear and their nutrition up since they can't digest foods very well. agghhh But they are soooooooo worth it!
