It does in my opinion possibly look like a tick bite, however ticks normally just don't bite, they latch on to feed. The other 2 things I and hubby think could be a possibility are flea bites, or even bed bugs.
I would have it looked at, especially since they are popping up in different area's. Has he gotten his immunization for chicken pox? I don't know what they look like as I have never had them and neither have my kids, but could that be a possibility?
yeah he has had all his shots. So far the meds seem to be working. The swelling seems to be going down and so far no more have popped up, thank you God!
he has been scratching so I dont know. Th have cleared up ow after gvnhim he Zyrtec and benydrl along with the cortozone(sp?) We will find out on Monday if it was a tick bite but it would be kinda weird that they were all over him...............
I am allergic to all insect bites and get welts similar to this from mosquitoes. Do you have many of them where you live? Just a thought as they look similar to my reaction. Whatever it is, poor little guy. I hope it clears up for him. Give the little sweetheart a hug from me!
thanks Amanda. I do think they were/are from mosquitos now. My 6 year old Hunter swells up really bad from them too. And yes we have LOTS of them here in Minnesota:~( Everytime someone opens a door around here we get them in the house:~( The zyertec and benydrl the doctors put him on seem to help some.
