Ahh, teenagers need to express themselves! I think it's great you don't worry about stuff like that...they go through so many phases. He's a good looking kid.
I believe that hair is hair. What's the big deal?? My middle son pierced his ears, with my blessing. What I won't allow while living on my dime are tattoos and multiple body piercings. If they want to get those after college and are supporting themselves, they are welcome to.
