Oh Yoda is such a gorgeous girl! Isn't she? It's wonderful, what you are doing for these dogs. Is she spending Christmas with you? I hope a happy forever home will come for her.

Hi Ginger.....I think she's wonderful, too! She was on the verge of extinction a few months ago.....The 1st week of October to be exact. We debated about her chances of survival, the misery she was in & unfortunately, the expense to save her......She was only a few months old, eaten up w/Mange, open bleeding wounds & scabs, Staph infection, NO hair, vomiting/diarrhea & then (within 30 minutes), diagnosed with HIGH positive PARVO!!!!!

Yes, Euthanasia was mentioned to ease her suffering & her chances of surviving the Parvo were slim with everything else she had going on....

But, I kept seeing this "glimmer of hope" in her eyes!  We decided to take the chance, even though it would take all the funding we had that month.....

I have told her since October that if she would continue to fight, that Santa would be coming to see her before long! Well, I got my "Christmas Wish" & followed through with a visit to Santa last week.......

She is about 5 1/2 months old, has gone from 7 lbs. to 13lbs. and is a wonder dog!!!! Not to mention, an eating machine!!!!!! She runs like a Cheetah & is "Wild"!!!!! Have yet to decide what breeds she consist of!!!! She looks like a Miniature Hyena!!! I kid you not!

Yes, she will be here with my family through Christmas & will be put up for adoption before long.....I am waiting till she is in top condition before I have her spayed...She cannot be adopted until then.......She is also still on medication for her Mange...

So, we continue to heal and (In the meantime), I pray for an excellent home for her.  I AM very particular where my Fosters go and will be excessive about her!  :)
