Hi. I saw your comment about Nystatin. I was on it for almost 18 days to treat oral thrush, swish swallow. 4 mm 4 x day. At first, it seemed to work great but a week 1\2 ago I missed two doses one day and one the next by the next day it was growing back so I made sure I did not skip. Went back to the dr yesterday because I'm almost thru with it but it isn't gone all the way. He switched me to Terbinafine 250 mg for 15 days. I hope this helps. Is your Nystatin helping? I saw something on line that shows that it isn't always effective. I have never had this before so I am obvioulsy not an expert. It turns out I got mine because I am entering menopause at 42 (mom did as well) My vaginal wall is thinning due to low estrogen. I think the hormonal fluctuations has caused these infections. I'm still researching this but I find these forums helpful. One week later I developed oral thrush.
