This took 3 of us..My Hub used the Mull. I used the wood splitter and a friend stacked in wood shed..We all stacked in shed. It now has over 6 cords in it and we had to stack some in the old chicken coop. If the Winter will be nice, then we should have enough for 2 years. Getting to old to do this kind of craap anymore. lol
PLUS this pic was taken before one more Load came in..
We had that one tree fall one week before we had a bigger storm that knocked out the town. About 4 more trees fell in the back 5 acres and one right out front..Those are all cut and stacked but have to dry.
This does not look like alot of wood when I look at the pic, but the shed is big and full to the top and all the way to the front entrance..Also have to put some in other places..The BIG rounds in the back where great because we got alot from those.
I really enjoy sitting on a big round log and splitting the wood with the splitter. I put it down so I can just roll the round in..My hub has it up so he has to lift them in there. BUT it makes it easier for him to toss it to the side. My left arm was very sore for a few days and the right was right behind it..hahaha
Very Good ABN..BUT it is BUCK SKIN TAMARACK. It is really, really dry but very, very heavy..It will burn for hours so we will be opening up some windows in the winter..We usually do because our wood stove kicks ash..BUT we are getting a bit older and it is getting a bit harder on us..lol
