Thanks, Dancer was our little house gremlin; never more than 6 - 7 pounds.
In Nebraska we lived in a raised ranch with a split entry, so there was a shelf by the front door where the main floor wrapped around a little. I'd always see her sitting in the window of the front corner bedroom when I'd pull up to the house. By the time I'd get to the landing, just below the shel, she'd be sitting there.
Her routine was to jump on my shoulder and escort me up the final half flight of stairs into the living room, then jump of and go on about her guardianship.
We cried real hard when she died; anaphylactic shock from a mild sedative given for a procedure at the vet's in Ohio.
Dancer was a good cat, true to her kind and a buddy to my wife and me.
