Certain views of this house looks like it could be turned into a home. I can only imagine how it looks with the trees in bloom, that is if they are not dead. Is there any water or streams nearby?
Absolutely Sara !!! That is indeed what draws me too them. Not only do they make great photography subjects, but as one walks the area, one begins to actually get a feel of those very same lives, loves, triumphs and tragedy's!!
I will always sit down for awhile and maybe even read a little to get that "Feel" for the place before I begin to shoot pictures.
I can't begin to describe just how strong the vibes from it's past really are as I sit and meditate. The very wind itself seems to tell the story's of weeping and laughter, as it moans though the broken windows and around the tattered eves.
The past "Vibes" at this 'ol farmhouse are very strong!! One could even say "Haunted"!!!! LOL!! :o) ~ Burrpatch

Yes, A much better world in some ways. A simpler time when family meant something. Where they ate and prayed together everyday at every meal. Where hard work was rewarded by a full stomach and there was no tax man who wanted to nail a piece of your hide to the front door and call it his!!!! lol !! Arrrgh .....don't get me started on today's, now-a-day-ism's!!! Ha Ha !
