I am a Denver native and graduated with honors from Colorado State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. I was then accepted into Angell Memorial Animal Hospital’s internship program in Boston for advanced training in small animal medicine and surgery. I have co-owned and directed Evans East Animal Hospital since April 1, 1987, with Dr. Steve Kromka. My personal interests include skiing and martial arts. I have a black belt in Peoples Kenpo Karate. I am a veterinary contributor at ABC Channel 7 and FOX31 News in Denver and provide weekly pet segments. I am Chairman of the Board at the Dumb Friends League and am a participating member of the Veterinary News Network.
