Lyme Disease Possibilitty?

I have experienced headaches since early march of this year, they subside maybe once a week, but they tend to stick around. Been to optomologist twice, nothing wrong w/ eyes. though i see floaters 24/7, this came in around may, halos at night, flashing lights. Got a ct of the head, nothing came up? headaches don't seem to be to intense, sometimes it throbs but not for a long time. possible lyme disease, i read alot of the symptoms, seems to match up good, any other ideas?

Hi.  If you want to be properly tested and evaluated for Lyme disease, you must find a Lyme Specialist.  I had many eye problems with Lyme.  Flashing lights when I closed my eyes at night and sensitivity to light during the day.  Many people have floaters but I didn't.  Some people get dim vision and if it gets into the optic nerve, you can actually lose your vision.  Lyme is nothing to be taken lightly.

To find a Lyme specialist, go to www.LymeNet.org and register. Click on Flash Discussion and then on Seeking A Doctor. Post there with your city and state and someone will email you privately. There is a policy not to post doctors' names on the site due to privacy issues.  You will see LLMD a lot on that site and that stands for Lyme-literate MD.  They are few and far between so be prepared to travel if you find one near you.  I drive 2 1/2 hours to see my doctor.

Good luck!
Carol

No one suggested an MRI? I know someone who was suffering from headaches all the time and it ended up being Chiari Malformation. This is only diagnosed with an MRI of the neck. Lyme absolutely causes headaches but you would most likely have other symptoms with it. I had headaches, stiff neck and shoulders, blocked hearing, tmj, low grade fever, stiff joints, sinus pressure....
