twitching of the face

what can cause twitching or spasms with a slight swelling on the right side of my nose?

There is a condition which causes painless facial spasms, twitches and sometimes contortions.  It is treatable and normally benign, but bothersome.  I don't know about the swelling.

It is called "hemifacial spasm" - appropriately enough.

Stres is a possibility. If you have other symptoms, see your physician and get checked out for MS and fibromyalgia.
