I was reading on the website. and well this line has some concern for me.
"If you are already taking birth control pills for contraception, and think you may have an ovarian cyst, see your doctor because it is unlikely to be a functional cyst."
If it wasn't a functional cyst I had then why did my doctor wanted to watch and wait. the stupid cyst just seemed to be making me more and more misrable and in pain. I knew someone who had a grapefruit size one and didn't feel a thing. how in the **** do you not feel anything?

everyone reacts different to cysts...some may have small ones with symtpoms, while others can have large ones without symtpoms. also depends on the kind of cyst, whether it is twisted, etc. there are so many factors, that there is no one answer.
the dr. is probably doing the wait and watch for many reasons....age, history, size of the cyst, etc., but you really should ask your dr. that question.
