Yes, I am stateside! But we have HMO's (health maint. org.) which can be a real pain in the tushy. You have to use the dr. they tell you to, or get a referral to use someone outside of the plan. If you do that, it costs more etc, etc, etc.! So I do not know what is worse!

Thanx-Im in the uk take it you are in america?
Here its all on the nhs so have to get a refferral to see any sort of specialist which is a mission in itself!!!
Birdcarver is right, get your thyroid checked! Thanks to ins. companies we have to go through hell just to get the health care that we need. This is so stupid!!!!! I feel for you. If you have really bad pain, go to the ER. They have to take you and maybe this will fast track you to the medical attention you need.

When you see your doctor please have him check your thyroid levels. Weight gain and tiredness are both symptoms of an underactive thyroid - as are dry skin and being cold all the time. This is one of the most common afflictions women have and it is totally controllable with a simple pill every day! Just one thing to rule out - take care.

Hiya!
I cant make an appt with a gyn I have to be reffered,I dont know wether you read my other posts about all the probs ive had and that awful ovay pain ive been getting lately?
I have to wait 6-8 weeks for an ultrasound and my doc said if that doesnt show anything then she will go through a gyn to get me a lap.
Have you made an appt. with your gyn.? Please do so as your symptoms sound the same as mine did when I had dermoids (benign). You really need to see your dr.
