Latest CA 125 Results

Question

Hi Cysters

Got my latest CA 125 results--(drum roll please!) 10.5!!! YES! The Dr did delay my chemo I was supposed to have taken yesterday because my platelets were too low. I took another Aranesp shot yesterday. I will be in for more blood tests Tuesday and will have chemo on Weds if results are okay. Until then, I am doing the happy dance and eating like a pig to build myself up for next chemo. I have put 2 lbs back on since being in the hospital last time. This will be the 5th chemo, so I am almost through.

Five down, one to go!  Excellent!  Great CA125 numbers, too.  I'm so glad you are doing well.  The platelet thing was a problem for me, too, but I eventually got through it, and so will you.  Eat your eggs!  Protein, protein, protein!  Don't know if you like beef jerky.  That's an acquired taste, I imagine, but it's loaded with protein, too.  Get the lower sodium kind, and it's not so bad.  Good luck, and hang in there!
