Thank you!! I didn't even think to look at Wikipedia. Just another example of chemo brain............
Paracetamol is the same as acetomenophen (Brand name Tylenol)
I'm in the states. What is our version of paracetamol?
Rebel Spirit...
I'm not sure...but I'm interested in finding out more about it. Will keep you posted if anything turns up.

OMG, I am a huge fan of Barbaro. I used to work at the race track when I was younger and I have followed the triple crown races for years. Never miss them!

Paracetamol is one of the most common and basic painkiller groups. The other is ibuprofen and aspirin. It's the one you buy over the counter for head aches etc. Paracetamol is the name of the drug, not a brand name, so if you look it up, perhaps on Wikipedia on the net, you may find something that gives a clue what it is in the US. Some of you often mention Tylenol (or something like that). Could that be paracetamol?
I've checkd on wikipedia - Tylenol is paracetamol!Paracetamol = acetaminophen.
I have to confess...I came across it while I was looking for updates on Barbaro (hanging head). Yes, I'm a sap.
Very interesting.
