Males with BPD Group
BPD is rare in males. Is it? From what we understand, there are no proven clinical results for males with BPD and in fact, past and current research on male BPD has been neglected if not ignored by the psychological community at large. Some research has even dared to eliminate males from its findings. Gender comparisons to BPD as been constantly divided, pointing to some ugly generalizations such as domestic violence, sex offenders and a majority of prison inmates upon the BPD male, thus dividing gender-based distinctions.
Our goal for is to enlighten, educate and discover why BPD is rare in males and to solicit the global mental health community to permit more research on males with BPD.
