Oh my gosh so this is where you have been !! I'm glad they were able to put you back together !! I'm still up on you by 3 more screws in my foot lol How did you do this Were you alone ? Damn Burr you do not mess around !! No more sickness and no more broken bones !! I send warm hugs Does it still hurt ?
Lesa: Does it still hurt...? Hell Yes!! I still have to hold on to something to put on my trousers in the morning!! lol ... Yeah... some days are better than others. It throbs and aches something terrible at times. At these times I sometimes remember the pain and shock of the original break.
Most painful traumas I have experienced in my life, my brain seems to have forgotten the terrible pain as a defense mechanism I suppose. However that was/is not so with this trauma. I remember the exquisite pain quite vividly. Perhaps this will change with time, at least I hope so, for the memory is quite unpleasant to say the very least. I screamed for quite some time. Mostly from the pain and partily from the money it would cost for surgery and lost wages due to the months of recovery i would have to endure.
Such is the life of a hermit. Interesting at times, and always adventurous!!! LOL !! :o)
How are you doing Burr~ is the pain a lil better ? I hope so.. just stopping in to let you know I'm thinking of you and they are always warm thoughts.. hugs
