okay I will, I will try it, what can I do to get the energy though
Boy, do I agree with you on the over the counter help for adhd stuff. They are scams. If they were subject to FDA rules they would never be on the market. And most of them are really expensive.
You don't have to be "dependent" on adderall. If yous stop taking it for about a month (you'll feel very lethargic that month) you will see exactly what you are like without adderall.
I'm 27. I've stopped my meds several times over the years. I always decide to go back on because they make me better. I suggest going without adderall for a while. Try it sometime when you don't have anything to do.
I've researched many of these over the counter adderall alternatives. In my opinion, they are all scams.
Its not that your body is dependent on it. You can stop it at any time. Its that it helps create dopamine which your body does not create enough of. The dopamine is what helps you concentrate (put very simply). Many adults will go down to the short acting adderall and take it only as needed. And, of course, there are many coping strategies that can be used depending on the need.
There is no legal herbal tea that will do the same thing. I would try the non xr version on the days that you think it might be necessary for a particular reason. Oh, the only way your body would be dependent on it is if you were taking way more then was prescribed. In which case you would be addicted to it.
