Unusual Behavior of 4 Year Old Son Toward 18 mos old Sister

Our 4 1/2 year old son has ADHD and takes Concerta. We adopted him from Russia in 2007, and we adopted our 18 month old daughter this past December from Korea. Our son said today after bathtime he wanted to see his sister so he could "lay on her." We watched him to see what he was going to do, and he lay down beside her on the floor with his back toward her and just lay there as she stood beside him. We told him that we don't lay on people, and that if he wanted to give her a hug good night he could.  He was not aroused when this happened, although we have noticed him becoming aroused at times since bringing our daughter home.

Does this happen with other 4 year old boys? Could it be a side effect of the medication?
Thank you.

I don't think it's a side effect of any medication.  Does the medication seem to be helping, four is young to be diagnosed with ADHD.  He could have other issues from being adopted not from birth, who knows did he bond, did he have socialization in Korea???  Lots of questions???

Conscientious doctors do not diagnose a four year old with ADHD. Children that young are in an early development stage. Most doctors would never make such a diagnosis until the child is older - may six or seven. Given that he should not be diagnosed with ADHD, he should not be on medication. Whether the medication is causing this behavior, I have no idea, but I would find another doctor and get him off the stuff.

Definitely a side effect of something he has seen or heard.  Doubtful if it is a side effect of the medication unless it comes with some very weird illustrated directions.
