Supplements/remedies for ADD?

Does any one have experience and success with having ADD and using alternatives other than meds?

Oh, I should also mention that learning all the little life style ways to deal with ADD or ADHD is important.  But probably the most important is learning all you can about ADD.  That is one reason why therapy is as important as medication.

Exercise will help.  I have several studies on that.
    Sleep is extremely important.
A high protein breakfast will help.
But essentially you have a dopamine inbalance and the stim meds are the only safe way to help with that.

Hi Crystal!  I tried a supplement. Later I found it was loaded with Kava.
That's like caffeine.
I can nap on my Vyvance. That's the measure I look for to make sure amphetamines don't work the same way as they would someone without ADD. ( but Vyvance is a med & my copayment is huge. )
   I hated Adderal.
My mom took a supplement but it also had enniphrin & caffeine.
  Read the labels.  Maxy
