Anything that blights your life can cause depression. So the answer is yes.

Yup that sounds like me.I hate school,it was boring to me. I wanted to be doing more.Fitting in it was a hit and miss,i wouls thats just growing up.

   yep!  In the book,  "The ADD/ ADHD Answer book," by Susan Ashley on page 62-63, she says that 10 to 30% of kids with AD/HD are thought to have depression.  I think that in untreated adults its much higher (at least from my experience).   And if you think about it, it only makes sense.  If you have had a life of not quite fitting in at school, or failing to meet academic standards that you know you are capable of meeting, or upsetting your parents with your behvior - then slowly over the years depression will set in.
