I had rapid onset muscle wasitng, followed by a negativery EMG. Wasting is still evident but appears to have dramatically slowed. At my exam and EMG I was asked if I had fasciculations. I did not. However about a month ago they began. First every 2 to 3 days, but now they seem to be every 2 to 3hrs. They are always in diffrent locations and don't really seem to have anything to do with the wasting. Today I was at a nuerologist, with my daughter who mentioned my leg, when she asked if mom was healthy. She was quickly intrested, wanted to look me over, said I also had wasting in my shoulder. She was quite jovial and me and my daughter had a laugh about it, but you could tell that she had a concern. I can't get a follow up till nearly December, and just wondering how concerned I should really be in the mean time. (I eat and swallow fine, I don't see any other ALS symptoms, statically doubt that is my issue, but didn't see any other motor neuron forums.)
