damn well there looking up some stuff its been gettting worse now for at least 24months but i never really noticed it getting worse until 5 or 6 months ago but they only ran one nerve damage testing on my left foot said it was normal then he did 6 needles
If EMG clean then no nerve damage hence NOT ALS. Possibility is peripheral neuropathy with overexcited nerves (caused by a virus infection??), if so will improve with time, symptoms lessen. I had a peripheral neuropathy of unknopwn origin with muscle cramps, spasms, twitching and neuropathic pain.Took some 1 5months for symptoms to subside.
well he only did 6 needles and he had me flex my muscle for around 4-15 seconds on each and he also did a shock thing on my foot and said everything was normal but the thing is when i flex my muscle it doesnt twitch its when i just like use it really quick kinda like im not flexing it the hole time just if i use it for a second two i notice it in my hand when i grip a golf club or on my face after i stop chewin stuff like that it stops when i flex it for that long do you have any input
nervous keep your fingers crossed
Well I'm getting an EMG on the 20th I'm scared cuz either way imma be sad cuz I wanna kno wut this is but I don't want it to be anything serious and in curable
Have you had an examination by a neurologist? ALS is characterised by progressive muscle weakness and muscle atrophy, if you do not have muscle weakness and muscle loss (atrophy) then you do not have ALS.
Is there anyone that can help please?
