My 4 yrs olds anger

So I took my 4 year old son to the doctor.when the nurse pricked his finger for a blood sample he went cried really loud and wouldnt let her collect the sample of blood, he even kicked her a couple times. Im worried that my son might have anger issues.

Is anything in his life happening that makes him think his distress goes unheard or is suppressed? He sounds like he trusted you not to let him get hurt and you let him get hurt and he was mad. I'm not sure that is "anger issues" overall, but if you think so, then you might look at places where he is frustrated or put down in life.
