Cholestrol in Cats

Cholestrol in Cats

I'm curious would cats also can get high cholestrol?  Clog arteries?

My cat like butter.  He also likes "Logical" margerine which can stop absorbing cholestrol in human.  Which one should I give him for the treatment of hairballs (on the skin type)?

He also diagnosed with renal disease.  The vet said it due to old age.  He is now very skinny but eat a lot.  He is on Fortekor 2.5, one tablet a day.

Generally we use cat lax instead of butter for feline hair balls. You might check your cats thyroid status as many older teen age cats develop hyperthyroidism which causes cats to eat yet lose weight.
