Gave my kittens a bath... will they get sick?

I have 2 male cats, they were strays we took them in, i got attached to two, but the other 2 weent to a farm along with the mother. Were not sure excatly how old they are but they are between 9-12 weeks... Well Weve had a flea problem.. a big one... and we put flea killer in the house, away from the cats of course, but my question... We had to give the kittens a bath with th eflea killer stuff, when they were smaller we kept it down using warm water and bar soap. it worked for a while, but now its out of control.. .the bottle says for cats 12 weeks and older... Well in our desperate time, we had to use it... We washed it off really good and dryed them off really good also so they wouldnt get sick by licking the soap... Will my kittens get sick from the shampoo? or did we do a good enough job to prevernt that?

If your rinsed your kittens really well after bathing them, than they should not get sick.  

You really should begin topical anti-flea products now.  Frontline and Advantage and equivalent are safe for kittens 8 weeks of age and older.  If your are diligent with the applications your flea and tick problem should be eliminated for good.
