My pet has diarrhea

Dear Doctor I have a pet puppy, had diarrhe,the characteristic of the stool is mucoid and I guess with dark blood but not so much, I thought it was parvo , the vet prescribed fluid replacement and cephalexin fr 1 week, but after a week it returned, my dog occessionaly had diarrhea with those charcteristic...

Please have your vet examine the diarrhea for Giardia, Parvo, and, Coccidia, either in house or send to an outside lab for analysis.  The outside lab could also check for unusual parasites such as Babesia.

When there is no  concrete answer a vet will just give supportive care as your vet has done, i.e.: fluid therapy with dexamethazone, and antibiotics.  The antibiotic's that I use for diarrhea are Metronidazole or Tylan.  I hope you dog is eating and drinking normally, but if not, she will have to see the veterinarian again.  Adult dogs can go with out food for a few days without difficulty but puppies cannot since they have so little storage fat and can develop hypoglycemia very easily.
