Post Surgery Pain
My 8 month old (11 lbs dog) had spay surgery today. They did not give her anything for pain. Is there any over the counter pain medicine we can use? She is whining in pain every time she moves.
OH WOW I WOULD BE CHANGING VETS, I KNOW SHE HAD TO BE HURTING . SO SORRY . HOPE SHE DID OK.

I am surprised that her vet did not give her post surgical analgesics. I would call your vet early tomorrow to request 4 days of Rimadyl.
In the meantime the only thing you can really give her is 1/2 of a 81mg baby aspirin every 6 hours.
