skin cancer treatment

Our vet surgically removed two malignant skin tumors from the chest and one from a foreleg.  The dog still has many tumors/growths, on her inner thighs mostly, and the vet has suggested to freeze them with nitric acid.
We have another female put with the same problem.  Her tumors were removed in Italy and the vet has put her on cortisone for two months.
What do you think of these two treatments?

Skin tumors can be removed in a variety of ways.  Surgically and chemically and even thermally (as with the cryosurgery or freezing).  It depends on the size, level of growth, location and cell type.  All are acceptable methods used properly.  However, remember cortisone is only an anti - inflammatory and not anti-cancer.  So that is a follow up treatment or something used to decrease tissue reaction.
