11 year old pug with a very swollen stomach
I have an 11year old female pug who has not eaten in 2 weeks but is drinking alot of water. Her stomach is very swollen and she has puss leaking from her vaginia. She is just laying around and I'm afraid she will die. Can you help?

Take her to an emergency clinic immediately!
This is a veterinary medical emergency, but hopefully it can be corrected with essential veterinary care.
She has pyometra (uterine infection) and may need immediate surgery to remove her infected uterus. She will also probably need to be hospitalized for several days to correct her blood work abnormalities, to give IV medications and more.
