Spay Surgery Post Bleed???

We had our 10 lb 2yr old Malti-poo spayed 2 days ago. This morning when we woke up the right underside of her belly had a large red 1” x 3” stain( about 1.5” to the right of her incision”. First we thought it was dried blood and then we realized it was under the skin. A couple hours later another appeared at the top of her incision and then 2 more small spots appeared on her left side belly. We took her to the vet and she said she didn’t know what it was. It actually looks like someone died her skin red but it’s underneath, the color is very dark red. The vet put her on antibiotics and told us to watch her. Do you think she is actively bleeding and why is the “stain” spreading?

Sounds like bruising post surgery which in not an emergency but your Veterinarian should run a platelet count and clotting factors to be more thorough.
