For right now, the best thing for you to do is to not think about food being your problem. In fact, if you can, eat some candies to keep you from wanting another fix.
I came off meth many yrs ago. I didn't have any addiction, but the stuff ruined my youth. I was very thin when on it. I gained weight in pregnancy, and never quite lost it all. But because I smoked cigarettes, I would smoke to keep from eating. DON'T smoke it you don't already, and if you do, quit! Anyway, after 22 yrs of smoking, I finally gave that up too. Very hard battle. And the only way I could quit smoking is to not worry about my weight. I had to keep reminding myself that it was better to be a little bit overweight than dead! And you know what? It's been 10 yrs, and I'm right!
So my advice would to concentrate on the biggest problem you have right now, and that's addiction. AFTER you have overcome that, THEN you work on the food. There is no way that you can do both at the same time. Give yourself a break.
And ....pray to God, for mercy, and help!
Just take it slow and try to eat healthy. I wish I weight that much, and I try to eat alot of salad and tuna but for some reason I still eat late at night. I wish you the best!
